Brazil Cerrado
Brazil Cerrado
This legendary bean include a balance of the three main characteristics of coffee: acidity, body, and sweetness. There is also a nutty, dark chocolate flavor that can be tasted while indulging upon a cup of this coffee. You may experience a fruity after taste, leaving you with a full experience of coffee perfection.
Cerrado is a region in the state of Minas Gerais, the largest coffee-producing state in Brazil. Coffee has been a major crop in this region since the 1980’s mainly because of the devastating black frost of 1975 that forced growers from the Parana region to relocate north to Cerrado and other areas of Minas Gerais.
Today, coffee is produced by over 4,500 growers on 175,000 hectares of farmland with yields of approximately 5.5 to 6.0 million bags per year. The coffee is grown in rich soil that the natives call “Terra Roxa” or “Red Earth” and other factors such as consistent rains, high daytime temperatures, and dry winters combine to make the Cerrado region ideal for producing coffee.

What You Need To Know
Sugar & Flavorings
There is zero added sugar in any of our coffees. The only sugars would be that which is naturally occurring in the coffee beans themselves, constituting about 1-2 calories per cup.
Unlike most other flavored coffee's available, we do not add any additional sugars or sweeteners. You will more than likely have to add a sweetening product to your flavored coffee to enhance the flavor profile to your own individual taste.
Some of our coffees taste like they have alcohol, (Jamaican Me Crazy, highlander Grogg, Almond Amaretto...) but the coffees contain no actual alcohol.

How Much Caffeine is in Coffee
On average there is around 95mg of caffeine in a cup of coffee regardless of the brewing method. In short, a 250ml brewed coffee and a 30ml cup of espresso have the same amount of caffeine even though their concentration levels are different.
Decaf Process
All of our decafs are Swiss Water Process. We don’t use any solvent-treated decafs in our facility (methylene chloride, ethyl acetate, etc.)
